Early entry?

Is this still available for Disneyland?

They got rid of the early entry for select guests and are doing it this way now....
Previously if the park opened at 9:00 they would let early entry people in at 7:30 and everyone else in at 8:30 or 9:00.
Now everyone gets in ealry at 8:00.
Bump that up if they have a later opening.
I don't know if they have changed this since May and haven't heard anything.

I've also heard that if park opening is after 8am, then Main Street will open 1/2 hour earlier. If opening is at 8am, everyone waits at the gate to enter.

The parks were opening at 8:00 and 10:00 respectively when we were there last week. I never made it to the 8 o'clock opening, but even at 9:00 the rides were very manageable. 11 o'clock was another story. I think at opening time you are still pretty safe, even without the EE. Just use your first couple of hours efficiently.
