taking our first trip (in august) with 9 & 4-year olds who are normally in bed by 9 pm CST and up by 6 or 7 a.m. if we stay 6 days, park-hopping 5 days and hanging at resort one day in the middle, and if we take a break each day after 11:00-11:30 meal until 3 or 4 p.m., are we crazy to try to do ee on all our park days?

also - does disney transportation get us to parks in time for ee?

thanks - kay

Disney transportation will get you there in plenty of time for EE. We always do EE at Magic Kingdom! It is the best time to ride all the rides in Fantasyland with little or no waits. Use Fast pass as well and you can really make a good use of your mornings. We are usually done with Fantasyland, Buzz and sometimes depending on crowds Space Mountain by about 10 -10:30. We also have many multiple rides during that time. Sometimes we will stay in the park for a while longer and will usually grab either an earlier lunch or have a character mael scheduled so we can sit an relax.

As my kids get older EE at MGM is now becomming a favorite since they love Rock N Rollercoaster. We don't usually do EE at AK or Epcot.

You should definitely look at the list of rides open during ee. You may not even want to go early to some of the parks.

My advice is to try it when you get there and then drop it if it doesn't work for you. If you're planning on going to another park a few hours after the ee park opens to the public, which I'd strongly recommend, it won't put you in the wrong park for lunch or dinner PSs.

The EE worked out great for us!! We got there about 1/2 hour early every day. The only one that didn't work out the best for our little kids is Epcot because the World Showcase and those rides weren't open. If we hadn't had breakfast ressies late in the morning, we might not have done it. It all worked out, though, because we were able to ride Spaceship Earth and The Ellen's Energy ride (I forget the name) before our breakfast reservations. I forgot about the energy ride being so long, so we may not have had time to do that before our breakfast.

We did EE at MK and Animal Kingdom, and accomplished so much during that hour!!

The one thing that you need to remember is that it can take up to 30-40 minutes standing in line and the bus ride.. One way.. so doing that twice a day you loose a lot of time... Unless your 4 year old needs a nap I don't really recommend going back to the hotel. Rather get to the park do what you want and then go back to the hotel about 5 or 6 and be done for the night... HAve a swim then... Unless you want to go to a fireworks show.. We would go early in the am, and then eat a good lunch and then come back to a different park at night.. It can be hectic, but it is worth it.. Also the kids will have more energy than you will. Rememebr that August will be a busy month..

If you don't plan on going to a park for the EE don't go to that park later in the day.. All the fast passes will be gone. We did that for AK and it was awful. We were so fed up that we just left. There were no FP avaliabe after 11am as the EE people got them all and because of the animals the park closes early...

Sometimes. It depends on where you are staying. Some resorts share busses which can add a lot to transportation time.

I've never seen a need to go to Epcot on an EE day. We go on regular days and try to get there around park opening. It would really help you though to do your EE day at MK on a weekday rather than weekend. :wave2:

we did early entry every day with our kids and they were 6 and 4....its the best way to do it...get in..ride those rides you wanna ride....i definitely think it is worth it...

Where do you find the list of the EE attactions that are open and what time is it for MK?
