early entry with Dreams Unlimited tickets

We just returned from a trip to WDW, which included a day at Universal. We purchased 1-day, 2-park tickets with transfer from Dreams Unlimited and our park tickets granted us early entry to the parks along with the Universal resort guests. I've seen this discussed on the DIS forum before and people said the loophole had been closed, so this is just a heads up!

The ticket doesn't actually say "early entry" anywhere on it but the code on the back of our ticket is UPRV (I think that stands for Universal Parks & Resort Vacations) and the ticket says "1-Day + Park to Park Promo UPR Ad - Universal Studios AND Islands." We took the 7:25am Mears shuttle from POP and got there right around the time gates opened at 8am.

Good to know, though I am not sure why they denied my friends..but oh well...I am thinking that once the HP expansion opens along with the new resort, they will make it so that the only way to get early entry will be to stay onsite at one of the 4 Universal resorts..
