Early entry to AK

I have been reading posts about people making early morning ADR's for MK and EPCOT for pre park opening. Does anyone do this for AK? Is it even an option? Is there any benefit to doing this for AK? Just wondering......

Yes, Tusker House (character breakfast buffet) has pre-park opening ADR's. They open at 8am daily.
I have done this before, so that at opening time I am all set to go, and jump in line for safari first thing.

So on a day when AK opens at 9am, you can get a PPO ADR for Tusker House 8am. It is a character meal so, it does take time
for the characters to move around. When I do it, I make sure I get a ADR for 8am and am done eating and have paid my bill slightly before 9am.

Yes you can do it at Tusker House, and has the same benefit of being in the park through security already at opening. If you can get an ADR close to 8, you should be done by 9, and you are right next to the Safari to jump on, and can then head to the next thing while people are still filtering in from the front. It helps you get more done early before lines form, as does going on an EMH morning when only on-site guests can enter for the first hour. Anytime you arrive early and can do EMH or regular Rope Drop, you are ahead of many who choose to sleep in, and get a lot done before crowds.

That said, AK is not as big of a draw for this now, but I think it will be as Pandora opens, and there is more to get done there in a day, and since you can also get a ROL package with brft, more may book it. MK was big for this because of a near empty Main St. for pics, but with new welcome show format, that is not a big advantage anymore. Epcot is popular for PPO now because of the three main Tier 1 FP rides that you can only pick one of for FP, so w/PPO you can jump right on Soarin or Frozen(depending on brft), and then go to whichever other you didn't FP after that.
