EARLY ENTRY-ticket processing

Hi,
Just wondering how this works... I know I need my hotel key(and of course DL ticket) to show when going thru the Grand California Hotel park entrance, but don't they still have to scan the tickets as they do at the Main Entrance?

If you're going to use the GCH entrance for early morning, I would advise against it. There are very few ticket scanners and a lot of people trying to get through. We wasted about 20 minutes of our early morning just waiting to get through the line. For early morning entry go to the main gates...Any time after that it's fine to use the GCH entrance.

I definitely agree with this.
