OK, so I'm a bit of an overplanner, but all these recent reports of crazy crowds has gotten me a little nervous!

We are going next weekend (MLK weekend) and staying at RPR. Early entry will should start at 8 - if we leave the resort at 7:30, is that enough time?

It will be me, DH, DD6, and DD2. We don't have to do Ollivander's, but definitely want to do FJ. The plan is to head straight to FJ, but obviously DD2 is too little to ride, so can DH go straight to the "child swap" area (up the exit, maybe?) or do they have to go through the line with us? It would be great if my older DD and I could run ahead to get in line and they could meet us at child swap.

And I know this has been asked a lot, but I've read so many different responses. Is there definitely NOT an Express Pass line for FJ? I've read a few posts about getting one FOTL pass if you stay onsite.

Thanks!

Yes, 7:30 is a good time to leave. There is no Express Pass line for FJ. There is a single rider's line and a castle tour line.

I'm not sure about the child swap thing. I think most people all wait in line together and then do child swap once they get to the end of the line.

At least on Spidey, I know that we went into the child swap room directly while the others stood in line. Its been a few years since we did this, so it may be different now.

I believe the whole family ahs to wait in line and when you get to the ride you can go into the child swap area.

Trust me you don't want to miss the castle!!

I saw a child swap today and the whole family waited together in line.

If you have an interest in doing Ollivander's, go there first and try to get into one of the first two shows (the first 40 people total). If you can do that and don't browse for a wand, you can still get into FJ with a very minor wait. You can always buy a wand later without doing the Ollivander's show--just go in through Dervish and Bangs.
