I'm trying to schedule our park visits for our late August trip but have gotten conflicting information regarding the best days to visit each park. As we are staying offsite, we are looking to avoid early entry days.

We need to make our PS ressies starting on 5/24 so I need the info ASAP.

Can anyone point me to the correct information? Thanks for your help.

Taking advice from a post, I scheduled our visits to each park the day after that park's EMH (except MK which we have to hit our first day). I will find out how the plan worked out in three weeks. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Early entry days are:
Sun- MK
Mon-AK
Tues-MGM
Wed-Epcot
Thurs-MK
Fri-AK
Sat-MGM
not sure if that helps or not!

It's very helpful! Thank you. Can you tell me where you got that info. from? I'm just trying to determine what are/are not reliable sources!!

Thanks again.

The thinking is this: Sunday is EMH for MK so those who go to MK on Sunday for EMH probably will not be going back to MK on Monday also. So you should visit it on Monday. Don't know if that stragety works or not. I also checked out disneyworld.com and they also had the days of the week that each park has had the lowest attendance in the past. That might help also.

The only flaw with that plan is that Mondays at MK are traditionally the busiest days of the week for that park...

The folks who publish the Unoffical Guide have gathered lots of data and are pretty trusted, you may want to check out their guidebook. They also have a site called touringplans.com where you can put in some specifics of your trip and it will tell you which parks to visit on which day.
Good Luck.

I've been researching my trip for over 2 years! I have the guidebooks, Tour Guide Mike, vacation planning videos, etc. So, I'm not sure exactly where I got that, everything is starting to run together, lol!! Also, check allearsnet.com for specific days for each park.

How have the crowds been on Sunday am since the switch (MK used to be EMH on Monday) and Mondays?

I would suggest that you GO to the MK EMH, but plan to leave before noon when all of the EMH visitors and the regular visitors seem to flood the park! EMH is a magical experience with very few wait times. Choose a strategy too - get your FP for the TL rides and head into FL or vice versa. This way if things get a little crowded, you can always use a FP if need be. You'll be sure to leave with a sense of satsifaction at experiencing many rides that may have longer waits at other times. EMH at any of the other parks doesn't seem as necessary since the ride offerings are so few that you can usually experience them with FP during a regular non EMH day. If we do an EMH park, we usually schedule a late breakfast/early lunch PS and then head to a different park or back to the hotel for a pool/nap break. We love EMH!

Mondays still seem to be busy MK days, try the day after the other MK EE day (Translatiom try TH is also EE for MK- so Fri might be a good day to try MK). In part MK is just busy all week long- now with the E-Ride nights on M-W-F, Tu might be a good day too, if they keep the E-ride nights for Aug.
And just to mess you up a little more, this is all subject to change. EMH nights could come back (in some form) at any point... That would change everything and will change what parks are best which day...
I ended up making two Itenerarys, one with current EE, the other with extra night hours and then I double booked my PS.

Thanks for the info about MK crowds. I have a tentative plan but will keep watching in case anything changes.
