Early entry question

Does it matter what kind of AP you have? I have the Florida resident pass. The one that has black out dates. Does anyone know if this pass would get me in at 8 AM.

no don't matter what kind of AP, as long as it's an AP

I was looking into booking a trip with universal directly and they were offering the early entry as part of the package ( without AP)
