Early entry for tomorrow question!

We checked into RPR today and plan to hit the parks tomorrow for one day only. IOA is now the only park with early entry so I'm wondering what the best strategy is to get to DA/Gringott's once US opens. Does Hogwart's Express open a bit early so we could get over there before the guests entering through the gate or should we just walk over?

I asked this very question at Guest Services inside USF this morning, and the TM advised that IOA would be the only Early Entry park until the Harry Potter celebration thing starts up next week. This was a bummer for me because I had hoped to use EE for Despicable Me at some point. He did say that the Hogwarts Express/Hogsmeade would start up around 8:30 a.m. for those guests wanting to see Diagon Alley as early as possible. I may give that a try on Thursday for Despicable Me, but if the people waiting at the USF gate are let in a bit early, they'll probably beat me anyway. :worried:

Glad it's it just me! Thought I was going crazy.. We will do Hogsmeade and then the express and let you guys know tomorrow.

We were on the first Hogwarts Express train from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade last weekend when US was the early park. It put us in IOA about five minutes before opening, and enabled us to walk on FJ twice in a row.

No guarantees, but it worked well for us.

Nice! What time did you line up to get on the first train over?

To update, we were let into IOA around 7:45 this morning. We went to FJ and waited about 20 min or so and we're off the ride at 8:30. We went to Hogwart's Expressans rode over to US. Walked on to Gringott's and finished that a little after 9.

I read on another site that US will not go EE until after the Harry Potter celebration. Does anyone know if there's anyway to confirm this?

We are going President's week for three days. Planned our touring plans around US having early entry.

We can easily change on the fly (especially because we are staying on premises ans have EP).

When IOA is the early entry park, what rides are open?
