Does anyone know which day(s) of the week early entry is offered for MK? Is it an ongoing perk or is it seasonal? We have accomodations arranged for 7 days offsite, but need to make arrangements for 2 more nights elsewhere. I've booked one already at HRH to take advantage of FOTL, but since we have 4 days to spend at US/IOA and only 1 at WDW, I thought it might be to my advantage to stay onsite the night before we go to MK, particularily if we go on a day that E.E. is offered, and get that little bit of extra time in. In order to qualify for E.E, which night do I have to stay onsite, the night BEFORE , or the night of, E.E?

The EMH days for MK are Thursday and Sunday. We found Thursday to be wonderful. It seemed a little crowded waiting at the turnstiles for opening, but then almost no one went to Fantasy land where we were. I inadvertently scheduled CRT breakfast during this time, so we essentially "wasted" that hour, and when we were done eating around 9:15, it was still empty. Now that same week, Sunday was horrible. We got there around 8:10 and it was crowded at the turnstiles, and even worse in the parks. We ended up leaving at 1:30 because it had gotten pretty bad.
You could use your resort ID for either the night before or the night of to get in for EMH. To take advantage of it if you are staying the night of though, you will have to check in pretty early. We did actually do this one day, but we were staying at the CR. We finished checking in around 7:30 and hopped on the monorail. We already had park passes, so we didn't have to stand in line for that.

We did EE at MK on a Thursday last December, and it was wonderful! By 10a, we had done as much as we could normally do in an entire day. We saw ALL of the attractions in Fantasyland by 9am, and were finished with Tommorowland (Space Mountain, Alien Encounter, Buzz - the ride and his "autograph") by 10am. Then we had breakfast at the Bakery and shopped on Main Street until our late lunch at Tony's Town Square (CP was being refurbished and Pooh's gang was there). We caught SADCT parade and Cinderella's Surprise Celebration... and got wet at Splash Mountain. Then left the park for a rest before we returned to MVMCP. The day went SO well, we're planning the same thing this year...

Have fun!!

I forgot to say....

We were at the turnstiles about 20 minutes before they opened and were the first ones in the park. Also, we met several characters on Main street as we made our way to Fantasyland
