Early entry fastpasses

Hi! I know you can pull a Maxpass fastpass during early entry to be used after general opening. Can you do so with traditional fastpasses? Asking for DCA if it matters. Thanks!

Machines should be turned off.

I don’t think so, I remember a line of people waiting at the end of EMH to pull RSR FPs and I think that was because the machines are off until the park opens.

When GOTG opened, fastpass machines were on during EMH. I know because we got FP then.

I think they do give them out for some rides during EMH. When we went in June (before Maxpass) they gave them out for Space and Matterhorn (we got one for Space. They didn’t give them out for Star Tours or Buzz Lightyear.) during EMH. We don’t stay on site so we couldn’t do DCA EMH but I remember seeing on the app that they were available for some of the rides. (I specifically remember seeing they were available during EMH for Guardians, RSR, and TSMM. I don’t remember about the other FP rides)

Update: I was able to get paper fastpasses for RSR during early entry. I also noticed the Soarin’ machines were on.
