Early Entry during Marathon Weekend

Does anyone know if Early Entry will happen on the Saturday and Sunday of the marathon weekend? On Saturday the 5km race starts at 7am (and goes through the parks) and on Sunday the race starts at 6am (and ends in Downtown Disney, but through DCA).

Yes. I called Guest Communications and was told that Magic Morning Early will take place on Saturday, 8/30 and Sunday 8/31 at 8AM.

According to Darkbeer's latest Miceage report, MM will not be offered on Sunday:

No Magic Morning to be offered on Sunday, August 31st

Due to the Disneyland Half-Marathon, and the delayed opening of Disneyland until 10 AM on August 31st, Disney will not offer the special Early Entry program on Sunday. Disney will offer Magic Mornings on Saturday, August 30th.

I called this morning and was told that Disneyland opens at 9AM on Sunday, August 31 and Magic Morning will be offered.

Weird - the Park Hours calender on disney.com says that the park will open at 9am on Sunday (while the micechat note says that it will open at 10am).

That is why I called. I was told 9AM for Sunday August 31 and was told all the runners will be out of Disneyland by 7:15AM since the race starts at 6AM.
The race begins and travels through Disneyland in the beginning and ends in California Adventure and that is why California opens at 10:30 AM on Sunday August 31.

HI, I called again and was told no Early entry on August 31.

I called and was told that there was Early Entry.

So, the current status is...

NO - 1 phone call, micechat

YES - 2 phone calls

I'm doing the race so there is no way that I'll make Early Entry - I was just wondering how busy it will be if I show up at/near opening. An opening delayed until 9am works well for me!

OK. Who knows. I also heard that if there is No MM on Sunday...there may be MM on Monday Sept. 1.
