Early Dining on Magic Morning Day-Question

Okay, so I'm trying to get a little clarification on an entry question. I've read here that you can get a dining reservation before the official park opening on a Magic Morning day, and that your name will be on a list. You would just go to the far right (?) turnstile and you will be able to go in to the Plaza Inn for breakfast.

So the other day I called for reservations and made one at 7:10 am for the Plaza Inn. (I just asked for the earliest possible, as that's our last day and I wanted to get as much time in the parks as possible.) When the CM said 7:10, I remarked that it was really early, and just wanted to confirm that we could use the "separate" entry turnstile. She said no, that it was a Magic Morning, and we could get in by 7:00 with a multi-day pass. I asked if we could still do that if we'd already used our early entry for that pass. (I know we can only use it once, I just was trying to understand what she was saying.) And she told me no, we'd have to use our Magic Morning for the day we were dining.

So I hope someone's read this far, and understands why I'm confused. I figure policy is always changing, and maybe I just missed the memo somewhere. Can we get in "early" that day without using our Magic Morning entry? I'll change the reservation if we can't, but we were really hoping to make the most of that last day. TIA for any help.

She is incorrect. You do not have to have an early admission on your ticket to get into the early breakfast. Honestly, sometimes I wonder what people they have working the phones, with some of the crazy info they give out. You would think they would be experts.

You will be fine. I have read many post by DL regulars who do this. I trust them!!

we are doing the same thing. you do not need MM entrance. They have you on the list and you just need to tell them your name and you will be fine.

If the park opens at 8, and early entry is 7, then the first seating time is 7:10 My understanding is, if it only takes you a half hour to eat then you could go in the park at 7:40. But you would have to eat pretty quick and the characters would have to be pretty quick to have much extra time in the park.

When I called to make my reservations for November, the character breakfast at Plaza Inn was the only place open before the parks open. The other table service restaurant thats serves breakfast, the Carnation Cafe, did not open early.
