First time cruisers, we have early dining booked on the Disney Dream 3 night. DS(7) and DD(11) both r scheduled for pirate makeovers, the earliest available was 7 and 7:15, the Mickeys Pirates of the Caribbean show starts at 7:45 I’ve read. We don’t want to miss the show but wondering will we have time to eat dinner and make the pirate makeover in time. Who has done the pirate makeover with early dinner? What time was your appointment? Did u make it to watch the First pirate show? Also is there a live show that night in the theater?

You don't say how long your Dream cruise is, but the 3 night cruise will have a live (production) show in the Walt Disney Theater, where the 4 night one might have an individual entertainer (magician or the like).

Sorry. It’s a 3 night

We haven't done the make over, but have done 5 cruises and always do the early dinner. We are usually done around 7. Tell your servers about your makeover apt and show up for dinner right when they open the doors. You could also stop by BBB sometime earlier in the day and let them know you have early dinner, I'm sure it's no big deal if you were to be just a few mins late to the apt. Don't know how long it takes to do the make overs, but I'd have dd go at first apt since girls usually take longer. You could also check when you get on the ship to see if there's any different times for it,(people often cancel stuff) if you don't think it will all work out.

Your waiter can rush your food. If you want great views you need to on deck up to an hour in advance.

I would cancel the pirate makeovers. You’ve only got 3 days and you don’t want to be madly rushing from thing to thing.

It will all be a bit hectic but it is doable. I would suggest dropping by BBB on embarkation day just to check if any earlier slots open up because I think you would have an easier evening if you can get an afternoon makeover. But even without changes, I think you can manage. We did a 4pm pirate makeover, early dinner, the Mickey pirate show, and the Walt Disney Theater show on the 3-night dream and felt totally fine. The reason I suggest moving the makeover is that it does get crowded up on the deck before the show, and it is best to head up as soon as possible after early dinner to get the best views. But if you can't move it and it is too crowded when you get up to Deck 11 for the show, just go up one more level on Deck 12 and watch from the railing--the view is not quite as good, but not bad, and the crowds are much smaller up there.
