Early departure with unused credits??

So, we are leaving early morning December 17 with an unused TS. Could we possibly use that days TS on one of the previous days? That would mean 2 TS meals in one day. Is that possible?

When you check into your resort, you're given the full pool of all of the credits for your entire stay. You are then free to use them whenever you want during your stay. If you're really big eaters and want to use all of your credits on the first couple days of your trip then you can (though I'd suggest you're better off with DxDDP if this is the case). If you want to only eat CS meals one day and then eat 2 TS meals the next then you can. If you want to eat at a signature restaurante which costs 2 TS credits plus eat another TS credit that same day then you can. The way you use the credits after they're given to you is entirely up to you.

Yes you can use that credit earlier in your trip.

Disney doesn't care how you use your credits.

Say you have 5 TS credits, if you want to use 3 TS credits day one by eating breakfast, lunch and dinner all TS that day you can do so.
You just wouldn't have but 2 other credits to use during the rest of your stay.

So definitely plan that adr and take advantage of that credit.

Sometimes we like to eat a breakfast buffet early one morning and a light lunch then a full TS dinner. Or do no breakfast, an early lunch and a late dinner....doesn't matter.

There's no limit as to how and when you can use your dining credits - you can use all your TS meal credits on one day if you wish. So yes, you can do what you are inquiring about. As long as you have meal credits in your account, you can use them in any configuration on any day, for any meal.

I am confused. Even if you leave early that morning, I didn't think you got any credits for that day. I thought it was based on NIGHTS not DAYS. For example, we arrive on Friday afternoon and leave Tuesday morning. That is 4 NIGHTS. Don't we only get 4 CS, 4 snacks, and 4 Meals for our stay?

you have until 11:59PM on the day you check out to use all your credits. We usally have snacks or a CS left so we eat breakfast the last day before check out and cash in all our snack credits too.

You are correct in your count (4), However if you don't use a credit your first day there you will have one on the last day, if you are using them 1 credit per day. Make sense?

Example:
DH and I are staying 6 nights on the DDP. We will use 1TS credit the first night and so on afterwards, therefore we won't have a credit left on departure day. HOWEVER last trip we paid OOP on the first night we were there and did have that last credit on departure day...we used it for lunch.

Thanks for clearing that up. Knowing that we won't get to WDW till around 3pm I am guessing we will have a couple of credits left over to use on our day of departure.

If you stay 4 nights you will have 4 TS credits per person. You will get these in a lump sum when you check in. It's then up to you how and when you use them. You have until midnight AFTER you check out to use them all.

I also do this same think, I saved one credit to use the day we were flying out, Chritmas day, so we are going to have breakfast at Ohanaswith Mickey, cant think of a better way to end my trip then before the airport go by all snacks to bring home for the next day so I feel like I am still there
