Early Chef Mickeys

I will be taking the family to WDW, (staying at POP) second week of June and one of the restaurants we wanted to try is Chef Mickeys. The only ressie I could get for breakfast on the day I wanted is for 7:15am. We rise early so thats really not a problem, just was curious how to handle the transportation to and from. Ideally we'd park at contemporary, eat then walk to MK for the day but i'm not sure if that's frowned upon or even possible so i'm open to comments and suggestions. Thank you in advance!

There are buses that start running between 6.15 - 6.30 am that will take you to MK, and you can just walk from there to the CR.

We have done a 7.05 am at CM and taken an early bus from ASMu, which is further away than POP, and we were so early we had to wait around for ages, even with them seating us early.

If you are really worried, you could take a cab. It will cost you about $15, give or take.

For an ADR at the resort, usually you get a 3 hour parking pass, so you can't park there all day and go to MK. If you want or need to drive and leave your car at CR and then go to MK, you would have to valet park.

We have also taken early (6:45-7ish) buses for ADRs, so I agree with the pp, I would take the bus.
