Early Check In at Resorts

I have a question. We will be going to WDW on Dec 15 - 18 (Pop Century). Since check in isn't until 3, can we go to the resort in the morning when we arrive so that we don't have to pay parking for that day? We are only about 1 hour away, so we planned to do a park until check in, then go settle in the room, then head back out for the evening stuff. Since we live so close, we justified the room stay by deducting parking and gas from the room rate..... Just curious if we can check in early in the morning even if the room isn't ready until 3.

yep - you can check in as early as you want. you can leave your luggage with bell services (or in your car since you are driving)

you may get lucky - you room may be ready.

Not a problem. You will get your room keys and the sign for your dashboard. If your room isn't ready they will give you a phone number where you can check on your room. No need to visit the front desk when you return either.

So we can check in at 8 or 9 in the morning? That is so cool! I am so excited!!

When we checked into the Poly two weeks ago on a Wednesday, our room was ready/available at 8:30 am. Either way, we received our parking pass then as well.

We have checked in at 6:30 AM. Just don't go expecting your room to be ready and be surprised if it is. If you don't have a lot of requests they may have a room that is ready then.
