Hi! I'm new to the board and will be taking my first trip to Disney World in March. We have an 8:15 a.m. reservation for breakfast at Cinderellas Royal Table on a morning that the Magic Kingdom doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. I've been told that the monorail starts running 30 minutes prior to the park opening (8:30 a.m.) We will have our own car and we are staying off-property in the Lake Buena Vista area. I've also been told you can not park at the Magic Kingdom. So my question is what would be the best way to get to the breakfast on time if the monorail is not an option and since we are off property and won't have access to an early character breakfast bus? Also, how much time should I alow to get there? Thanks for any help you can give :)

You will park your car at the Transportation & Ticket Center, which is, basically, the parking lot for Magic Kingdom. If the express monorail is not running as early as you need, then simply take the resort monorail instead ... it starts running at 7:00 a.m. every day.

To add to this, when you go to the resort monorail, you will tell the CM there that you have a CRT dining reservation. Plan enough time as the monorail will stop at Poly and Grand Floridian first, then MK. Give yourself enough time and all will be fine.

The cool thing about an early ADR like that is there is almost no one in the park. Get there early enough to stop in front of Walt Disney (in front of Cinderella's Castle) and take a picture. We did it and it made a great Christmas card picture!
