Just read through the thread about early bookings. So if I want to do a Jan 2006, am I too late too get a good price?

Not necessarily, but I would book as soon as possible. I am booked for 6-06 and my trip has gone up a few hundred. I think it also depends on the time of year. I'm sure the peak season times will have the rates go up faster.

I think you're still early enough to get a good price. (Coming from a complete newbie, so take this with a grain of salt.) I just booked for September 2006, and the price hasn't changed in the last three months. I was also told that the earlier you book, the more likely you are to get an upgrade--though of course, you should always book the room that you want to stay in, because upgrades aren't necessarily that common.

P.S.--I just went to the Disney Cruise Site and priced a cruise for January 2006, and it's exactly the same as the price of my September 2006 cruise. So I think that you have an excellent chance of getting a good price!

Thanks guys. :)

Oh, how far in advance is the deposit and then the full amount due?
I'd look on disney site, but honestly I'll probably get a faster answer here!!

Trying to suprise hubby with a trip, but have to sneak the $$$ a little at a time so he doesn't notice.

Usually when you ask for a quote, you have seven days to book it, this requires a 250$ deposit per person (at least for a 7 day). The final payment is due 60 days prior to sailing. Our departure date is Sept 17th and July 17th is ouf final payment due date.

If I were you, I would request quotes from several agencies, Dreams Unlimited (THE BEST), allseasonstravel.com, costco, disneycruiseline.com. and then go from there. Some times we are surprised at the different pricings..Good Luck.. :flower:

The deposit is $200 per person on the 4 day cruise.

Kabuki -- we're booked on the Jan 15 2006 Wonder. We booked ours during the first week of February this year. I checked prices yesterday and it has gone up $90 since then.

I read that if you book up to 6 months in advance you get the early booking credit. Of course the earlier you book, the greater the savings. You can always cancel up to 61 days prior to trip and get all your money back, is what I understood.

If you check at AAA Travel they have a Disney Cruise Catalog and in the back it lists ALL the terms and conditions of booking and refunds and such. Very much information in tiny print, but worth the read.

I just booked the 4 ight 1/8/06. for two people in a cat 11 it was $925. 200 deposit for each person due now and the balance due in Oct.

The Disney site still has Magical Rates listed for January 2006 cruises. You should be able to get a good rate still. Good luck.
