Early Boma ADR at 60 days out

Just trying to plan (and reserve) our park days so trying to figure out what day to book our Animal Kingdom day and what day to book our Hollywood Studios day.

We are planning on booking Boma for breakfast prior heading to Animal Kingdom.

It looks like Boma typically opens at 7:30am and Animal Kingdom opens at 9am (in summer). When I do a check for available breakfast times as far out as I can, times are available but seems to start around 9am.

Our Disney trip is the last week in August but I am assuming it's similar timing. (Touring Plans predicts 9am openiing)

Is Boma breakfast pretty hard to get at 7:30am at the 60 day mark? Or if I book right away, we'll be fine?

(Disney planning is complicated....but if Monday night is extended hours at Epcot, then it seems to make sense to book HS on Tues and AK on Wed...IF....we can can Boma for 7:30am. But if we can't get breakfast until 9am, then makes sense to book AK on the Tues following extended hours since it won't be as early of a morning)

I would keep an eye on the park hours as they are posted- they just did a large update for May and some of June. AK is open from 8-8 now for our June trip. If that continues in July and August, it may throw a wrench into your plans of an early breakfast!

Thanks. Will watch for the times once they are posted. Either way, we would like to try for Boma ADR as early as we can and then head to AK...even if we don't get there for park opening.

My first dining window opens tomorrow (split stay so I have 2) and I will be looking for a Boma breakfast on my arrival day. I'm looking for later in the morning but will try and see what's available and report back for you if I see 7:30 as an option.

So this morning, as of 6:45, I had no problem finding a Boma reservation at 7:30 on arrival day. So I would think your 60+1 should be fine!

I had issues with a Tusker House breakfast- hoping Wednesday I do better- I'm flexible on our AK day... I just check again, and could get breakfast for arrival day and 60+1 and 60+2 for 7:30 still (4:30 pm).

I forget though how it works....when you actually reach the 60 day mark of your days, dining reservations open up for the start + 10 days? Is that why I'm not seeing anything? We arrive on Saturday and not looking to book until the Wednesday or so (and similar for Chef Mickeys at 7 days out).

Yes, 60+10 (or the end of your trip). I would think the further out you get the better off it will be. I'm going on to do the rest of my reservations tomorrow so I can check availability again once I'm done. I only checked on our arrival day, so right at the 60 day mark. It was definitely available through late afternoon/evening.

ETA: you also want to put in the specific time, or it chooses a random time in the "breakfast" time frame. So try putting in 7:30 am vs. "breakfast" and see if that helps?
