Any experience when purchasing SW early boarding passes when you are on the second leg of a flight? Example, if a flight originates in New England and you are flying from Dulles. I am just wondering since people will be onboard if purchasing passes would be worthwhile.

You would still get a better boarding position than anyone boarding at Dulles who DOESN'T get EBCI. If there's only one other person, than I'd guess it wouldn't be worth it. If there's 50 other people, maybe so. Unfortunately, there's no way to know how many people will be boarding with you.
