Can anyone tell me if I arrive at FW before the normal check in time and my site is not vacated yet, can I unhook my rig in the spare parking to the right and go to the parks till my site is open? Or can I just drive into MK or another park with my RV if I dont want to bother with unhooking it? Ive never seen an RV in the parking lot before so i am unsure if they have a rule against it.

Thanks for any help

I thought I read somewhere that your site may not be ready till 1300hrs. I could be mistaken Ive been doing so much research I could be backwards and upside down.

If your site is ready they will let you go to it if not they give you a # to call when it ready they will give you your site #. They will not give you your site # until it's ready

You can park in the overflow lot near the entrance until your site is ready. I'm not sure about unhooking in that lot to go to the parks, but you could park there and ride a bus to the park. I would also assume you could drive to the park with your rig.

Yes, you can unhook and drive to a park. We almost always arrive early, check in, park in overflow and then unhook and head to DTD.

1) You can do either
. . . drop the rig at FW overflow lot
. . . drive hooked rig to park parking lot
2) The only difference is increased parking cost at park

Whenever we checked-in and our site was not available, we still received our Parking Pass to be placed on the dashboard. The Pass allowed us to park at any Theme Park free of charge.

Yup, this is the way it should work.

Also if you arrive close to the 1:00 check in time (which yes if arrive before one and your site is not ready they will refresh your memory that check in is 1pm), you can just ask for whatever site they currently have available as an alternative to using the overflow lot or going to the parks. This is a good to know for anyone like us that does not have a generator and is traveling with pets.
