We are taking a red eye in a couple days from Oregon and will be arriving into MCO at 5:30am:headache:. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten in quite that early before and had to wait very long for the bus to fill up. I'm having this vision of sitting there for 90 minutes for others to arrive.....would they make people wait that long?

We will be staying at POR, not sure that makes a difference though. Thanks for any feedback!

I wouldn't imagine they'd make you wait that long. We've gone during a moderately quiet time in Sept, and besides our travel group there were maybe 6 other people on DME, and they didn't make us wait. You might be surprised at the number of people that arrive that early as well, it's hard to tell. Either way, enjoy! POR is lovely.

I've arrived in the early morning before - I think about 7 and they just sent us on our way on the bus...we didn't have to wait for anyone else :)

I don't think they'd make you wait an hour on the bus but you might have to wait a bit. I got in around 8am last year and had to wait about 10 minutes for the bus to show up (I was the only one in line) and then another 20 minutes on the bus for it to leave (at which point two other families had shown up... dang... thought I was going to have private "limo" service to Disney... :lmao:)

You won't have a long wait at all. That time of day many folks are headed TO the airport, so they have to get the DME buses back to the resorts ASAP

we got in around 8 last year. They put us on a bus with two other families heading to one of the All Star Resorts and left immediately. We were at our resort less than and hour after landing.

At that time of day, I can see them loading everyone on one bus and making multiple resort stops. Similar to what my sister did at 2am. A few families with resorts that were not typically grouped together.

Glad to see we're not the only ones getting in early! We've got a redeye flight from Seattle getting in at 6:15 AM, so I'm glad to see other folks report it going smoothly.

We caught the red eye from L.A. To Orlando arrived at 6am and the magical express was ready to go.

Was your room ready when you got there?

Was going to post something similar. We usually get to MCO at 7:00AM, head to the lower level at MCO, go to the ME loading area, touch our Magic Bands, and let WDW do the driving. And also, WDW picks up your checked baggage.

Have fun.

Will they at 5:30 am? They stop getting it at 10 pm, so when do they start picking it up again?

More than likely your room won't be ready as check out is 11AM. Check in is 3PM or 4PM. Might get some pixie dust & it will be ready ( if it was me I would check out the room if ready when you get there in case something is wrong) Just saying. Good luck !
