Early April weather? Swimming, shorts?

Never been in April before. How is the weather early April? Warm enough to swim, but only midday?
Shorts all day with sandals, or will light jackets and/or jeans be needed at night?

Alot of rain? Will we need to carry around our ponchos?

lol its Florida, so in April, it is already feeling like summer in some places. Check the long range forcast before you pack for any weird trends, but that time of year, we tend to take one pair of long pants each (sweats usually because they can be balled up and taken along for our sons) and the rest shorts. You can certainly swim as at least one pool in your resort will be heated.

Don't forget all your sun gear either AND your rain geer. It will probably rain most afternoons for a bit. You can purchase light weight ponchos there or bring them with you.

April should be great weather. Low 80s, low humidity, not much rain. Maybe a jacket or sweatshirt in the evening. It should be perfect! Enjoy.
