Early AM Breakfast Res - not using our MM option?

Our plans changed and I just went online to book a reservation for Plaza Inn on our first day at DL. The only time available is 7:20am. I booked this, but I have a question. Since this is a MM, will that count as our MM entry? I don't really want to waste MM on breakfast.

I'll be stalking the reservation system for a different breakfast time, but I'm not holding my breath, lol. We really enjoy going into the park early and riding some rides, then getting a big, late breakfast to hold us over until dinner time.

I have heard enough horror stories that I refuse to take the chance. So we're using our MM on our second day there and doing Minnie's on the next MM day so we don't waste park time.

It doesn't. You have to go to the correct entrance. There is an entrance just for breakfast. Arrive about 10 minutes before your reservation. They'll let you in. If you're worried about it, you can be sure to tell them you don't want to use your MM. It's actually a very nice time to visit Minnie's. The food is fresh, the crowds are low, you'll get plenty of time with the characters, and when you're done the parks will officially be open.
