Early 2025 Discounts Incoming?

You can always book your stay now and change it if a discount comes out.

That's what we did. We needed very specific dates for our trip to cover two birthdays and fit with my work schedule. We booked a year out for April. Hoping for discounts!

No. There has to be a room available in the discount inventory to apply it to an existing reservation. That basically means, if there is a room available to book as a new discounted reservation, you can apply the discount to your existing reservation.

I'm also watching for the email from Dis Visa, or a post here. DW and I are going first week of Feb. for on our first trip without the kids (Juniors in HS and College)--currently booked for CBR, but would love to upgrade with a discount (or save a bit on CBR!!).

If that room type is not available for the discount then no - they only have limited types and limited numbers of rooms (it's not like an overall discount, types can be excluded). But if you have the last one of that type it wouldn't be available anyway whether you waited or not. And in waiting someone could grab that room type.

Going off of MouseSavers, it was on the 19th last year and I believe the year before that.

I'm also hoping that they are offering discounts over the same time period as the Bounceback offers. It would make sense but who knows.

I think they’re still pushing the holiday season as I got an email about Christmas yesterday from Disney Destinations-not about a discount but just about what’s being offered.
I need the February discounts before buying event tickets or plane tickets.

I’ve been tempted to rent DVC points instead of waiting for a Disney discount so I hope the discounts come soon! Although I just priced out a week over Christmas for my desired room choice and it’s still available with the current discount! My dates are during spring break in March so I figure if the room is still available 3 months out ahead of Christmas then it will likely be available for spring break. At least I hope that logic is correct.

as everyone else said...nope.

But go onto the wdw website, don't log in, and check daily for the same room that you had applying the discount...and I mean daily. If you would be able to book your room (or a similar one or better one) with the discount, call in immediately and ask them to modify your reservation. Don't try to book 2, because both could get canceled...just call and they will apply the discount.

Looking to book for late February. Do we think the discounts will get posted soon or later in the fall like they used to a couple of years ago?

I'm seeing more and more discounts for right now until Christmas, including a discounts from 3rd party sellers. They just announced a 25 percent discount for Canadian residents for 2025 so maybe...but I think they're going to try to fill the 2024 rooms first.

We’re in the exact same position. Early March trip, waiting to see if AP discount or dvc rental is cheaper. Unless we get a confirmed ressie for DVC, our choices are likely to be Old Key West or Saratoga Springs. We don’t want actual sofa beds. Looking for Murphy bed or 2 real queens.

Years ago it was "I can't wait for my Disney trip, and if I get a discount that would be awesome more money to spend !!" . These days with the way the hotel prices have risen it's more like "I hope I get a discount so that can go to Disney this year".

It's so sad, I actually remember when the Wilderness Lodge was $199.00 a night, it wasn't that long ago.

$199 per night...those were the days
