Hi all!

I’m trying to decide when to travel to Disney early next year. We are thinking some time between February-May but March is preferable. I know March is typically extremely busy due to spring breaks but I was curious on everyone’s thoughts about crowd levels for spring break next year? Do you think we will still see high crowds in March with our current circumstances?

There have been a lot of threads on these boards about people who had to cancel their spring/summer/fall trips and reschedule them for next year. If WDW is open and operating semi-normally my guess is that the crowds will be high, not only due to new bookings, but due to those that had to reschedule their trips.

We have a trip planned for March. It will be my first March trip but we are going during my niece's spring break. We will do what we can and hope for the best. I know it's wishful thinking but if they do expect bigger crowds I hope they bring back fastpasses by then.
I do know I've ready earlier March is normally better as far as crowds compared to later March because the later part is when Spring breaks usually begin.

Old post but I am sure you continued to research crowd predictions for March since August. My trip is due for the first week of March (not sure if you cancelled). And I didn't want to post a fresh thread about it so I am wondering if you have learned anything more since this post?

Ya we are still going also (obviously), although somewhat apprehensive but I would lose my air at this point (re-booked 3 times). I read every report I could, blogs, asked around etc. It seems like this year later March isn't supposed to be as bad as usual due to Easter being in April. But of course who knows. Good luck to you and have a good trip!

I'm going the first weekend in March and it seems like a coin-toss on whether it will be "busy" or not, although I'm sure much less than usual as it was pretty easy to get ADRs past the 60-day booking window and Disney is running specials like crazy to try and attract crowds. Then again your perception of busy may be very different so continue to research and adjust expectations. Personally I'm excited!

I was originally scheduled in March and moved up to January.

The park capacities right now I am not sure are going to change between now and March. I would expect crowds to be somewhat like early/mid December.

I guess at least early / mid dec is usually fairly decent.

That's what I'm hoping for. You should come join us on the March thread: Official March 2021 thread
