Earliest Way Get Epcot on Monorail

If we're staying at the Poly; would it be better to take the resort loop around to the TTC to get on the Epcot line or walk to TTC to get to Epcot line to hopefully be on the first monorail to Epcot to do early entry? I understand the quickest way would be to walk, but I'm not sure what time they start opening security at the TTC and I know we could get through security and on the resort loop by 7am, so wasn't sure if that'd be better. Early Entry at Epcot and MK start at 830 this day.

If anyone has any experience taking the monorail to Epcot for early entry can you report how it went? When you arrived was it evident buses had been dropping folks off for a while before you arrived?

TIA!

I would definitely walk to the TTC and get on the Epcot monorail there. The resort loop would take a good 40 minutes or more since it goes Poly-GF-MK-CR-TTC. At that time of day with that many stops, it takes an age. Also, you may well have to wait for another train because the first one that arrives is nearly full.

It's no more than a 10-minute walk from the Poly. We'd heard it was quick but had no idea it was THAT fast until staying in Pago Pago last fall. The walkway entry is near it.

All Disney transportation will be mobbed after 7:00-7:30 with people going into parks for breakfast and heading for early park hours. Get going around 7:00 to get to Epcot by 8:30.

Double check with the front desk (in person) morning of to confirm what time the first monorail will be running, but plan on 1 hour before EE. But always double check.

Thanks...do you happen to know what time they open security at TTC? I guess that's my main concern. I know I can get on the resort loop and be moving by 7am, then I would just need to switch at the TTC. If they don't open security at TTC til say 745-8am for an 830 MK early entry, then I feel like taking the resort loop may be better, but if I'm able to get through security at 7/715 at the TTC, then that would put us in the front.

I'll ask when I get there if no one knows, but in my experience most CMs at Disney don't know or don't give accurate info. with that kind of stuff, so I'm hoping to get some insight from those who have been since early entry started.
