I can't remember what the suggested earliest flight time is for Saturday Disembarkation. Can someone help me out? The airline sales have started and I don't want to waste too much time.

THANKS!!!:)

How are you getting back to the airport? If in your own car or a rental, you can normally make it back in plenty of time for a 11:30 flight, but I think noon is a good rule of thumb time just to be safe. Every time we've cruised, we have been of the boat by 8:30 and back to the airport by 9:30.

Not sure if you take Disney transfer though, never tried that.

We're using the DCL buses again. I like being able to check in at the cruise terminal. Noon sounds about right.

Most guide books recommend 1:00pm or after.

We've used the DCL busses for all of our 9 trips, and the latest we've been to MCO and through security has been 10:15am. This was in December of 2001, when there were still armed soldiers in the terminals, no luggage check at the port, no curbside check-in at the airports, and ridiculously long lines at security. We are usually there and checked in by 9:30. This is based on early dinner seating (and hence early breakfast on the last morning), and we head off the ship right when it clears, usually between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. However, we've never encountered a case when the ship was late getting into port, which is something you might want to take into account, as it does happen from time to time.

I personally wouldn't book anything before 11:30-12:00. I think that most times, you could make an 11:00 AM flight, but the hassle of having to deal with missing it is something that I wouldn't want, so I don't mind waiting a little while in the airport with a book. It really all comes down to your own comfort zone, but these are some of the things you should consider.

just to be safe we chose a 2:00pm flight, but when we got off the boat and down to the airline checkin area at the dock they put us on an earlier flight (at NO additional cost). That was a big help, but I wouldn't have booked it myself (it was our first cruise and we didn't know what happens on disembarkation day).
