Earliest Debarkation?

It looks like we can get a non-stop Soutwest flight back home from MCO for a good price, however the flight leaves at 11:20am. My question is - when is the earliest we can leave the ship? Does anyone see this flight as impossible to catch?

we were on the july 10th cruise and had a flight leaving at 11:30am. i was worried too but we walked off the ship by 8am, located our luggage, went thru customs, had our bags checked at the port and we were all on the disney bus by 8:45am and at the airport by 9:40am with plenty of time to spare. hopefully barring any unforeseen events you should have the same luck.

Unfortunately, the answer to this question is not under DCL's control. No one can get off the ship until it is cleared by US Customs. This includes the mandatory check in for all passengers who are not US citizens, the dog sniffing of all luggage, etc.

Usually, you can be off the ship before 8. DCL wants everyone off by 9. However, we were on one cruise where the doors weren't even open until 9:10. On anther cruise, I was at the airport before 9:30 and actually was able to move to an earlier flight than my scheduled 12:30.

So....an 11:30 should be no problem. It's about 45 minutes from port to MCO. Customs takes virtually no time. Plan an hour from ship to MCO allowing for claiming luggage, loading onto vehicle, etc.
