I know it's a ways off but I'd love to know what is supposed to be "open" or changed or works in progress :)

I know there are lots of changes coming but I don't know all the expected dates.

The Rivers of America and all the related attractions are supposed to be open in April but I don't know if that means SWL will be open yet..

2018 is the rumor I remember for SWL. Really I think the only changes you can expect at this point is ROA will be newly redone or ROA will still be closed. Everything else ought to be status quo unless there are any announcements.

We're going in late June for a few reasons. One is that I'm hoping that the ROA and the Train will be open by then. Early May could be the forecasted opening, but delays, etc. could happen. Also, in early May there will probably be other refurbishments wrapping up. Even though the ROA/Train are down, other things still need refurbishing and from mid-January to late-May are the most common time for annual ride refurbs.

We'll be going in late June to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. We did this a few years ago and it was great (aside from being hot). Everything was open since they try to get repairs in before summer. I know ROA is suppose to be open. I doubt the train will be back online yet and there's no way SWL will be open that soon unless they make huge progress in record time. At DCA, there aren't really that many confirmed changes right now. My guess is pretty much everything there will be open that's open this summer unless something drastic is announced sometime soon.
