Does anyone know if the new sandwich shop has opened at the marketplace yet? If so, has any body tried it?

Not as of last week. A sign out front says their signature sandwich is a hot hand carved roast beef served with fresh potato chips. They also will be serving fresh fruit smoothies along with homemade ice cream sandwiches. Sounds interesting.

I was just at DTD yesterday with some friends, and it's still not open.

We just got back from 3 days at OKW {on trip board} and not only is the Earl of Sandwich not open, but might not be until next spring. Apparently there are $$ problems. Not with Disney, they are not remodeling the place . The Earl of Sandwich is, and they are having $ backer problems, although that is supposed to be rectified, but it will delay the opening.

We were at Downtown Disney yesterday afternoon and it was not open yet..... I was dissapointed that the market place was gone, I was all ready for a snack from there...
