Hi Everyone!

Is Earl of Sandwich an actual sit down restaurant or counter service? Do you need to get reservations? It sounds like a great place to eat, cant wait to try it. Is it busier during lunch or dinner?

Earl of Sandwich is a really yummy place to eat..... I ate there 3 times last week on my Feb 4-11th trip.
It is counter service and there are numerous tables and booths available.
I went at bothg dinner and lunch time and lunch was always mobbed!!
They are really speedy though and move people right along.
The only complaint I had was that they do not have onions...
I had a really hard time eating my tuna without them.
Mickey must have an issue with bad breath!!! :rotfl2:

Wow Kat3668, I did not know they came and took your order at a table now (sit down). I thought you had to order at the counter......Thanks for the info.....

I think it is just counter service, but there are many places to take your food from where you order to have a seat.

And I concur -- very yummy, always busy. The line moves pretty quickly, though.

So it's counter service then, right? I've never been there, but have some friends going in a few months, and I told them it was counter service (they are on the dining plan and wanted to use cs credits there.)

Counter service-they don't wait on you. And depending on the time, may be no place to sit. My friend (in October) had to eat his egg salad at a table over by Fultons!!

A definate must when you go to WDW. The roast beef is so tender and delicious.
They are counter service, and at lunch it is very hard to find a table. I really hate it when I am getting close to finishing my meal and the groups start to gather to stake a claim. I haven't finished yet and they are gathering chairs around my table to sit down. If you are going with a group have someone order and someone else look for a table.
I like to eat outside because the crowd prefer inside and the tables outside are easier to get.
I wouldn't use my dining credits on this though, they are so inexpensive. $4.95 for a big sandwich and $.95 for potato salad or coleslaw. Drinks are about $1.50. Peggie

 Sorry guys dont listen to me... I meant sit down as there is a place to sit and eat... duh......
