Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Express

We always go to Earl. LOVE IT!!!! The sandwiches are delicious. We have not tried WPE. We are going to go to both on the next trip.

Don't forget they also tell you to pay at the 2nd register next to the area where you pick up your food, because at the 1st one is just where you order and they give you the pager. So I always thought that was why their line moves very fast.

I agree. The lines are long but move quickly.

We like both but WPE is the best CS at WDW in our opinion. We ate there twice on our last trip. However, part of the appeal is that it is a step up from your normal CS. If you are not on the DP Earl is more economical. By way of comparison our two meals at WPE cost around 65$ each while our meal at Earl was less than 35$.

For DDP value, WPE is the best choice. You can get DVC/AP(i think) discount at WPE as well. Personally, we try & do both each trip....we've even done WPE for b'fast--AMAZING b'fast pizza & enough to share (if on ddp get 2 drinks).

If $$ is an option, Earl is a little less pricey & I'm always confused at WPE do you tip? We usually do some but sometimes I get my own drinks when the server isn't around so I don't really know the answer...

If you just want a sandwich or something like to eat go to EOS...for a bigger meal or richer foods go to WPE

Puck is a Vegas thing for us. We tried Earl for the first time in August. Line was huge, but like others have said it move quick. Food was excellent. For a counter service credit was far better than anything we could have got at the resort.

We loved WPE then we tried Earl of Sandwich and fell in love :lovestruc But we haven't used meal credits at EOS (always paid out of pocket with AAA discount).

For a quick meal at downtown Disney, Earl or Wolfgang? :confused3
Both menus look interesting, I just can't decide. Help!

I would have to vote for Wolfgang Express. While both were ok I like the feel of still being waited on. Plus the food itself was better I thought.

Another vote for WPE !!If you are on the DDP this is a great CS use !!!EOS would be cheaper most likely !! Both are good though !!

For the price, quality. taste, you can't go wrong with EoS...as already posted, long lines....but, isn't that a good sign?!?

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

EoS is always a stop for us, usually on our last day. This trip we will be hitting EoS after arriving since our FDDP doesn't kick in until the next day. The sandwiches are really, really good and, as everyone has stated, reasonably priced -my top choice for OOP. I just heard about a holiday sandwich - turkey, stuffing, gravy - yum. We WILL be heading back to DTD later in our stay for WPE. All reports that I have read are a :thumbsup2 for taste and QS value. Of course, CoD will be on the trip list too!

We prefer Wolfgang Puck Express to EOS. We really like the food and it feels like a TS restaurant. After you order at the counter you sit at a table and a server brings your food to you. The choices are really good, things like spaghetti and meatballs and pennette bolognese. The creme brulee dessert is as good as any I've ever eaten.

EOS is good but it always feels so chaotic to me that it takes away from the experience.

I would go to earl for sure they always have great food and they do a good job at handling the crowds.

They're both really good, I usually go to Earl if I'm paying OOP, because it's such a good deal, and then WPE if I'm on the DDP.

WPE is the best counter service in all of WDW, IMO. But, my DF would eat at Earl of Sandwich twice a day, everyday if I would let him.

WPE express all the way for me. I have an EOS by my office and eat there often so it's nothing special for me. Howeer WPE offers gourmet food and is an excellent value on the dining plan.

Both are great, so you can't go wrong no matter which you choose. Great sandwiches and soup at Earl, and I love the chicken quesadilla at WPE!

Check out the menus and decide.

I was so looking forward to EOS when we went on our last trip after reading all the great reviews. It was one of our worst meals. The line was super long and took forever - at least 20 minutes. They were not helpful at all, in fact they were rude, we felt rushed while ordering and asking questions and then we had no where to sit after we got our food. To top it off, I felt the food was nothing special at all.
