Ear infection follow up - the saga continues!

Hi all - well, DS would have been fine to fly today as his infection is all but cleared up. BUT, what was a "bit of a cold" for me escalated into a full on disaster last night and we were forced to cancel our flight today. Turns out I now have a raging middle ear infection and strep to boot. We should have been at DL from today until Dec. 3rd.

Thankfully, we can reschedule. I don't, however, have any experience with crowd levels at DL after the first week of Dec - right now we're thinking of Dec 10-14 (or something similar, like the 11-15, or 12-16). Can anyone please shed some light on what crowds may be like, and if one set of dates is better than another??? Looking at the DL calendar, it seems like the weeknights of Dec 10-12, the park is open a little later (until 10P), so that would suggest slightly heavier crowds, but is it really bad at this time?

I'm thinking we should be OK as this weekend we would have had the tail end of the Thanksgiving crowds. Next weekend we would have had CP. The following week nothing special is happening, it's just a little later in the month. I'll be clear to fly after the 8th, and the 10th is the earliest we could go - I'd, once again, appreciate any advice you can offer! Thanks!!

We are going 12/10-12/14. I anticipate Wed., Thurs. and Fri. morning to be decent for crowd levels and from Fri. afternoon on pretty much packed.

That should be fine, especially if you can get as much weekday days in there as possible. Crowds and hotel costs are my concerns there.

I agree...try to go during the week if at all possible! And crowds should be moderate but nothing extreme until the 18th I would guess. Sorry you are sick...feel better soon!!
