Ear Embroidery at DLR

Help. I messed up. I orders ears for my kids as a surprise for our trip next week, but failed to request their names be embroidered. Is there anywhere at DLR that will take the Disney Store-bought ears and embroider their names?

They have taken away the personalisation option for the earhats inline.
You can get it done in the parks (My brother got one done for my daughter in the parks), someone else will hopefully chime in where.

Unfortunately the policy for writing on previously purchased ear hats requires a receipt of purchase from another store within the resort. You can always ask if they will make the exception but it's not a guarantee (stores CM here).

I think the Disney-store ears are the same ones sold in The Parks. If you ordered it online than you should be able to print out your order as proof of purchase. Personalization on ears is now extra. You have your choice of fonts and colors, too. I would bring in a copy of your invoice and ask. You are going to bring the ears anyways, right? Go the Mad Hatter on Main Street and simply ask.

The reason for the policy is because if the machine stalls, they need to be able to replace the ears. Yes, they'll probably have the current Disney Store online ears, but one is the retail division and the other is theme parks, so not a given that they can do it. If they say no, you can always buy new ears in the park and return the ones you bought online after your trip.

Heck yeah I'm bringing the ears. DD5 and DS3 are going to be thrilled. They don't know yet that their names are supposed to be on their ears.

DS got DL kids ears and DD got the standard Minnie ears. I have the receipt and a cheery disposition so hopefully a kind CM will take pity on this poor dad trying make some magic for his kids.

Ear Embroidery? Sounds painful. Now that's taking piercing to a whole new level.

You can do ear embroidery of your own. You don't want any machine to do it. If you have basic knowledge of stitching you can do it using needles only.
