We used Eagle Rent A Car last October and had a horrible time dealing with them. Our first problem started when they refused to give us the car our agent had reserved for us (a mid-size). They claimed he had rented us a compact car even though we clearly showed mid-size on our confirmation and were being charged a mid-size rate.
After much debate we really didn't want to get our vacation started this way so we figured we'd get it straightened out with our agent as soon as we got back. We would have called him right away but it was a Sunday. Although, they had plently of mid-size left we took the compact to avoid any futher delays.
Upon, returning the car we were charged for a full tank of gas even though we had completely filled it up and second were an hour late (which they allow) and was charged an extra day. After disputing both these charges, we were told the manager would need to complete the refund and wouldn't be in for several days. We asked to have some kind of confirmation that a credit would be issued and were told only the manager could issue something like that so we took her name and info.
After we returned home, our agent was furious. He called them and after dealing them decided to drop them as a client. We also filed a claim with the BBB. Almost a year later, everything is still pending and I have been told by Eagle countless times that my refund is being processed. It was the only bad experience I've had so far during a Disney trip and I would never use them again. IMHO, it seems like they offer low rates but then try to sneak charges onto your bill to make up the difference. Many people might not even notice.
Not to mention there customer service was totally unacceptable.
Anyway, this was just our experience, I'm sure there have been people who haven't had these problems but I wouldn't take the chance again.
BTW, we waited over an hour each way for the shuttle. They claimed one of their vans was down.
