EA and minivans

Is it possible to reserve a miniman with National using the Emerald Aisle service and not the counter or Emerald Choice? It's not letting me do it for some reason. It kicks me to Emerald Choice, which I don't really know what that is. It's also only accepting my DC contract number, but not coupons. Can anyone help me out, please? Thanks!

Emerald choice is where you go to the minivan aisle & take one. It's like EA, except the aisle you are allowed to choose from only has the class you reserved. It's a good thing

I've always had good luck getting it to take my coupons and the contract codes. What kind of error are you getting? Some of the coupons are only good through full size, so they won't work on minivans.

Thanks for your reply. That helps a lot to know that I can still skip the counter. We're not supposed to post codes here, right? My coupon isn't working because it is only good up to full-size cars. Are there any coupons that include minivans?

Most coupons only go up to full size. I know for sure the Disney Club code won't let you book a minivan, and I think that is about all the coupons National has! Sometimes travel books will have free upgrade coupons, to a full size.

BTW, I have used the Emerald Choice service before. We got a luxury, and ended up with our choice of 2 Buick Park Avenues. On the minivan aisle (right in the same area as luxury), there was a Buick Rendevous (which I really wanted, but they wouldn't give me! I offered to pay the extra $4! difference, but they still told me they needed it for people who reserved a minivan), a few Ventures, and a Montana.

Entertainment book has 2 coupons that you can use. One is $15 of weekly rental of Intermediate or higher and the other is $20 off intermediate or higher and both are valid from 8/01 thru 12/31/02

The way they are worded, I would think they WOULD work.

I had tried the $15 and $20 coupon code for a minivan and full size van from national website and it will not take, eventhough it stated "intermediate or higher and both are valid from 8/01 thru 12/31/02".

If you a Disney Club member, use the DC contract ID (5901600) on national website, it should give you 20% off any size. Hope this help and good luck.
