E-Ticket Exchange at Monorail Entrance to DL?

Just checking that if we bring our e-tickets to the Monorail they can exchange them for the regular paper tickets like they do at the main turnstiles. Anyone tried this and can confirm?

One of the advertised features of the new app is the ability to buy eTickets via the app and show your phone at the gate. It's not clear if you can load an eTicket purchased another way into the app. You could maybe play around with it to see if that's an option.

Apparently you can link your tickets to the app (like MDE). But you would still need a paper ticket to get FP. So what's the point, right. I said "apparently" because my Premier AP can't be linked yet.

The FP thing would obviously be huge. I have an AP for myself but some in my group have hopper tickets I bought at a nice discount thru the D23 Expo site. Not sure how I would link those even if I wanted to. Anyways we are going tomorrow PM and I think I will just take the etickets with me as I planned.

While I have not personally done it, I have seen guests exchange paper printout for tickets at the Monorail entrance. You should not have any problem.
