We lucked into a last minute trip...and will be at WDW in 2 weeks!!...I was wondering if anyone knew what e ticket night crowds had been like recently??

Also anyone want to hazard a guess on which night would be the least crowded??

I guessed Wednesday night figuring Monday and Friday are busier MK days anyways, DH was betting Mondays would be better (less crowded), because people would avoid the late night so early in the week.

All advice appreciated.

Unofficially, Disney restricts the number of tickets that it sell for e ride night to no more then 5,000. In past years we have never experienced long lines and many times have been able to ride attractions like splash mountain continuously without even getting off. Some people have reported waits for space mountain because they sometimes restrict access to one side only. We live for e ride night! I have no idea which e ride nights would have a smaller crowd. My guess would be that they would all be around the same. ::MickeyMo

Do they sell out? How soon can we buy tickets? We are going this week, getting there Thurs. and want to do eride Friday night.
When can I buy tickets?

We went to 2 e-nights on our last trip (May 29-June 12, 2004). The first night we went was a Wednesday, most rides were a walk but my 2 oldest said the sign at SM said 15 minute wait but they waited about 30 to 40. The second e-night we hit was a Monday but it had been raining and so there were not many people at all--everything was a walk on.

We went on June 4th, experienced virtually no waits for: Buzz, Pooh, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, and Philharmagic. We loved it! Of course we had a toddler so weren't interested in Space Mountain or Splash Mountain.

The later the E-Night, the more rides you'll be able to go on. For example, if the E-Night is 7-10pm, there will be a lot more people, especially children. If the E-Night is 10pm-1am, you will see less crowds and it is, imho, much more enjoyable.

We did E Ride night on Friday, June 4. It had been raining that evening and even before closing, most rides were a walk-on. We did wait 10-15 minutes for the Fantasyland stuff, but otherwise very much a walk-on for everything. This was the first Friday e-ride night of the season and definitely not crowded in our opinion. My dh is a miser when it comes to money and he said it was worth the price of the tickets!

Did e-night on Wed, June 9th and it was wide open.

Got on BTMR X 2 without a wait, although the 2nd time we rode , it broke down about 25-yards before the end of the ride. I got stuck right in front of the gyser and thought my ears would burst. Ended up being the last riders of the night and got a fast pass to return at any time.

Got on Splash X 2 w/o a wait.

Got on Buzz & Space Moutain w/o wait.

It looked like Winnie & PP had 10 minute or so waits but we didn't ride those.

Thanks for all the info...last summer we went one night (they weren't having many e ticket nights) and the waits were worse than during the day in off season...although during the day that week at MK it was totally packed...so it gives me hope. Thanks.

I have never seen a posting that indicated someone wanting e ride tickets unable to get them. Yes, you can buy them 3 to 4 days in advance at your resort. ::MickeyMo

Also went Wednesday 6/11 and it was well worth it. We even made it to 1AM! Got my tickets 4 days before at the resort.

We went on Friday 6/4 and my DH (also a miser like BrerMama's) also said it was worth it. We walked onto almost every ride, and rode Big Thunder and Splash at least 4X each. I agree with the times. There were alot more kids at the 6/4 one which started at 9, than the 6/11 which started at 10. DD and I went to the 6/11 one and bought our tickets that night at 8:00. It was a little more croweded than the 6/4 one.

We went on 6/2 and bought tickets that day. We also went 6/7 and bought the tickets at 10:30 pm on our way to the park. It had been raining that day so I didnt think it would be sold out. With the light rain there was hardly anyone there, it was nice, no lines anywhere.

I can't wait. This will be our first E-Night. We are planning on going on 7/14 (Wed night). If all of you are correct on wait times, we think it will be well worth the extra cost. I hope I can ride space mountain over and over again!!!! Yippee!!!

We were there last night (Monday, 6/14) from 11-2. It had been raining until nearly midnight and the park was like a ghost town. Everything was a walk on.

Question ... we are going next week (yea!) and my brother will be staying with my Mom at Port Orleans. He will use 1 remaining day from someone else's 4-day park hooper pass. Will he be able to buy an E-ticket since it's not "his" 4-day park hopper? My Uncle will be using the 4-day pass Tuesday-Thurday, and my brother will use the last day on Friday (which happens to be an E-ticket night). He has cast memeber park passes for the rest of his stay.

The park hoppers dont have names on them so there would be no way to know had the ticket originally. As long as the ticket is used to enter the park on e-night you shouldnt have any trouble.

That's what I was hoping .. but I wasn't sure if they put the park hopper passes on the room keys, which would have a name associated. I may be confusing those with length of stay passes though. Thanks!
