Peter Pan's Flight | Walt Disney World Resort

Peter Pan, by a lot. I find in general, Universal excels more in thrill rides and Disney in dark/non-thrill rides.

My 18 year old daughter requests ET every time that we are at Universal- as in every day of a trip ( generally 5-7 days). I don’t think that she has ever requested Peter Pan. She will do it and enjoys it, but doesn’t request. For reference, she’s been to all of the parks a lot since before she was old enough to require a ticket. Pirates (DL and MK) and Indiana Jones (DL) are her Disney must do rides. Mummy is Universal’s answer to Indy - Mummy is a daily request for Universal, and a multiple time ride. ( sadly it’s under refurbishment and was when we were there last month).

I'm a bit mixed on this as I love the first part of ET going through the woods and all, but the "flying over the city" scene is much better in Peter Pan and the ET's homeworld scene is just weird and feels like the story is non-existent. Pan on the other hand is fun for the whole ride but it feels like such an abrupt end, like half the ride is flying to neverland then the cram the entire story into two scenes (see Pan fighting Hook and then everyone celebrating). So honestly it's a toss up for me for Orlando rides. Pan in Shanghai looks great from POVs though as the extra scenes really fill out the ride and story to me and I would say is easily the winner.

Tough one for me as these are two of my favorites. ET and Velocicoaster are the only two rides at Universal that I must re-ride each trip. I’ve spent over an hour riding ET over and over with no wait in the past.

That all said I still think I prefer Peter Pan. Close call for sure.

Both are classic dark rides.
I give the nod to ET as its a much longer ride.

Completely agree. Never could figure out where the idea for the homeworld came from, but never seemed to fit what I was expecting (although not sure what I expected, but not that).

That's a tough one, don't actually ride either often, been a few years for each. Will make sure to do ET in June. (and maybe PP, but with no FP, and probably choosing something else at rope drop, I will probably skip.) As short and overhyped as it is, I'll still pick Peter Pan
May change answer if I ride in June
ETA the John Williams music might also push me over to ET.

ET's planet is the trippiest, goofiest, most hilarious thing I've ever seen on a theme park attraction - but in general I have to give it to ET over Pan. It's simply longer, more ambitious, and more detailed.

Pan hasn't aged well at all, IMO.
