E-Ride Nights, or Extra Magic Hours, are times exclusively set aside for guests staying in a WDW resort. Each day, one park either opens up an hour earlier or stays open 3-4 hours after closing to give WDW resort guests a chance to experience popular attractions with little or no wait at all!

It's good if you have early birds or night owls in your party that really want to go on a ride that would normally have a long wait. Kids love it as well! No fussy whiners about long lines!

I highly recommend giving this opportunity a try. You will have little or no wait for the most popular attractions.

This is the best thing there is to do at Magic Kingdom. The e-ride nights (which we did twice when last at WDW are only available to certain hotels, so double check. I made reservations with Hotel Royal Plaza (which is set to reopen soon and has some special rate with mousesavers - don't know how good it is but we spent about $60 night - super cheap!) They were fairly close an dthey had the direct bus - pretty quick.

The way e-ride works is you pay $10 or something and then you get to stay in MK for about 4 extra hours. Only certain attractions are open but it is a blast. Anyone that doesn't have a special bracelet is shuffled out of the park eventually. There were no lines on the rides and this was the biggest blast running from the end of the ride to the front of the line and immediately on the ride.

A must do!

I believe Extra Magic Hours are for WDW Resort guests only.
They no longer charge the $10 fee. Everyone who stays at a WDW Resort is eligible.

Eride nights no longer exist. It's called Extra Magic Hours. It's only open to WDW resort guests and there is no longer a charge for it. Take advantage of early mornings, too!

This is totally different. All I know is that when I went to WDW in July 2004 we stayed at Hotel Royal Plaza specifically because it was eligible for the E-Ride nights. You can only do the Morning thing if you are staying on property (out of our price range.) At the time we went, the mornign thing and the e-ride night were both going on. These are both totally different and seasonal, only at peak times I understand.

This is the best thing going and worth a little investigation to try to get in on it. It is not a publicized thing and it does cost extra, but totally worth it. I think they can give you the schedule on the disney website or you can check allears.net. I know I found out about it on a disboard like this one and it took a rew phone calls to disney to get a straight answer. Even the opperators don't know much about it, it seems. I lucked out and got the schedule just before reserving the room.

Check for it.

As noted, E-nights no longer exist. Only Disney resort guests are eligible for the Extra Magic Hours. Disney resort guests are allowed into the EMH morning park one hour prior to public opening. The evening EMH runs three hours past the public closing time. Disney resort guests are given wristbands so the Cast Member can identify them and allow them onto the rides/attractions. Other guests can remain in the park to shop, eat, browse, etc., but not to ride anything.
There is no cost for either the morning or evening EMH.
Note that during the peak season the evening EMH has been extremely crowded at times. We witnessed this in June at the Studios. An absolute mad house.....busier than during the day. I imagine the evening EMH is great during the off-season.
