Dear Valued E-PASS Customer,
Non-stop travel with E-PASS is getting even better!
All E-PASS toll passes will work on the new I-4 Express lanes opening soon from west of Kirkman Road (State Road 435) to east of State Road 434 in Central Florida. The new Express Lanes will require electronic toll payment such as your E-PASS or similar toll pass. To learn more, visit i4express.com.
It is important to note that roadside signage may not always depict all accepted toll passes, but rest assured your E-PASS works on all toll roads, including express lanes, throughout Florida. Check out the “Where Your E-PASS Works” guide to all of the places you can use your E-PASS sticker, Uni, KnightPass, NolePass, or GatorPass.
Remember to always keep enough money in your account to cover your tolls. To make toll account management easy and convenient, download the free E-PASS app for your Apple or Android phone and get balance notifications, set up automatic payments, and check your toll activity in real time. Or simply drive through an E-PASS Reload Lane to add funds with cash, credit or debit card.

We are from Canada and drive a motorhome while towing a Chevy Equinox. The EZ-Pass application looks like we might need a
"Prepaid Only - Recreational Vehicle (MOTORH) This account offers a prepaid option for non-commercial customers registering an RV weighing over 15,000 pounds not currently enrolled in any other E-ZPass program. Requires $100 initial prepaid account balance." Our GVWR is 20,500 lbs.

We are going to WDW and wonder if all the toll roads from PA to I-75 SB through to the Florida Turnpike accept billing by plate if we do not get a transponder or must we stop and pay at the toll booth? Any advice from fellow Canadians especially would be appreciated.

Expect to pay two to three times the toll price if you use pay by plate. Most toll roads offer a discount for having EZ-Pass. Pay by plate may also charge a "convenience fee"

I understand the I-4 Express lanes are now operating. There are funny news reports about dozens of drivers being ticketed for driving 100mph or whatever, because they allegedly thought "Express" meant they could drive faster.

77 speeding tickets issued on Saturday alone which was the first day they were open. I used them yesterday (Sunday) to get downtown and I saw several cars pulled over during my trip.

So are the Express lanes like in Toronto where you have the Collectors and Express Lanes - just stay in the Express if you're not exiting for awhile?

Yes, the express lanes run down the middle of I-4 (separated by concrete barriers) and are intended for longer trips. The I-4 Express Lanes (currently) only extend for 21 miles and there are 7 entrances and 8 exits in either direction.

The FL DOT wants to extend the express lanes in both directions (towards Daytona Beach to the East and past Disney to the West), but that will be MANY years in the future before that happens.

A map of the express lanes can be found on the I-4 Express website: https://i4express.com/
