E-Night and Special 3 Day Hopper

My daughter softball team will be staying at the All Stars Sports and as part of the package they will receive a 3 day hopper. My question is if there is a E-Night during their stay will they be able to purchase a E-Night ticket using the special 3 day pass? Everything I have read so far states that the 4 day hopper is the minimun requirement to be able to purchase a E-Night ticket.

I wondered about this as well because I saw posts here about a three day hopper.

The printed information at WDW has only said that you have to have "a multiday pass." I don't remember it specifying how many days.
