e-miles conversion to Airtran A+ rewards

Anyone know the rate for e-miles converting to Airtran's A+ rewards? E-miles is new to me and I'm wondering if its worth my time.

I'm a member of e-miles, and once I get to redeem 2 points, I'm going to discontinue it.

It's 5 points per message, and it takes 500 points to get 1/2 a credit. In the last 6 months, I've only made 300 points.

I've found that mypoints is much better. Good luck.

I just converted 500 emiles to 500 Delta miles this week. The good thing is they credited my Delta account within 24 hours! Yes, it takes a long time to get the 500 emiles, but it is a good program to add a few miles to the account since airline programs terminate miles when the account has been dormant for 18 months or so.

Thanks! I already do mypoints, but I am almost to 500 e-miles, so maybe I'll stick with it a little bit. I didn't think about it being a way to keep my account active and that would be a huge bonus for me. I am actually pretty pleased that 500 = 1/2 a point! I was thinking it would be even less.
