E-Mailing Conceirge

Is there anybody out there who has done this? I saw the e-mail address in the FAQ. The CM at CRO suggested we contact the coneirge because the time between when we booked the room and when we will arrive is only a matter of weeks. So, I went and e-mailed them. I am just curious as to what to expect.
 
I've emailed concierge 3 times now and always heard back from them within 24 hours, except when I emailed them late on a Friday night, I didn't hear back until Monday midday. From what I can tell they are usually pretty good at getting back to you.

Which concierge are you staying at? I've been contacting Wilderness Lodge concierge which is also the same planning office as the Polynesian.
 
I e-mailed the WL conceirge last night. I was just curious as to what to expect and what kind of things they can and cannot help do for you.

We have all of our PS's and we're not looking to get squeezed into CRT or anything, just kind of wanted to know what they can do to help us relax and unwind.
 
I have emailed the Itinerary Planning Offices each time we've stayed concierge (AKL twice; BWI once and an upcoming split stay at WL CL and BWI CL) I have had excellent service from everyone. I was a bit worried about the WL group after reading some bad experiences on this board but my experience has been perfect. I've gotten responses within 24 hours every time and gotten all my PS through them as well as some manicures and pedicures at the GF spa lined up :cloud9:

I emailed the GF concierge on Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm and received a response back by 8:30 that night. They sent me a Personal Itinerary Planner that I filled out and faxed back (didn't want to email due to including credit card info) on Tuesday. By late Tuesday night, they emailed me to let me know they entered all my info into their system (I asked for LOTS of PS ressies) and also gave info about Kids Night Out (which I requested) and offered to make ressies for me when/if I am ready. They also scheduled the Hoop Dee Doo ressie for my trip and sent me a confirmation with amount charged to my AMEX. They then said that they would be making all my other PS ressies in July, when they are 90 days out. I had asked about rental cars, and they gave me info about that and offered to make the ressies if I so desired. Finally, I had asked if there was any kind of tour of the GF offered, and the conceirge offered this: "There is no official organized tour, but I am sure our knowledgeable concierge staff or bellman would be happy to show you around."

All in all, I was pretty impressed. I know many folks here like to do their own planning, but not me--I love letting someone else worry about it! I really look forward to having someone else make all those phone calls for me in July. :)
