I am very concerned about the entertainment cutbacks at WDW (less shows and elimination of shows on Sun/Mon) We look forward and return again and again because of the live entertainment. Live entertainment is so much 'fresher' to see over and over again. I have several vacations planned in the next few months and I'd hate to cancel some of them due to lack of the entertainment that we look forward to.

This is certainly no time for cutbacks when the country is trying to stay 'normal', it only will give people yet another reason NOT to go to WDW.

In this time of patriotism, at Epcot it would be a nice gesture if you replaced Mickey waving the wand with Mickey waving the 'largest' US flag in the world. It would also make for a very inspirational patriotic commercial...a closeup of a little girl waving a mini-USflag just under Spaceship Earth, zooming out to reveal the emensity of Spaceship Earth, then 'whooshing' out to reveal the huge flag waving in the wind with the American Pavilion in the background. A longer commercial could then quickly zoom in on the American Pavilion penetrating it to view highlights from the very patriotic show.

They will probably reject this due to the 'idea' at the end.

I agree jeffh. The patriotic type themes would be very fitting right now!!

Which parks or shows are you referring to when you say Sun. and Mon. ? Also, is the Sun. and Mon. thing a rumour or confirmed?
