E mail notifications

How can I stop the emails coming into my email address everytime someone answers a thread I participated in. I went ucp and thought I stopped it but it keeps happening? Any ideas or thoughts

You need to go to the UCP and unsubscribe to any threads you read or posted to before you disabled email notification. Apparently, when email notification is on, every thread you post in is automatically subscribed to. Even after I disabled it I was recieving notifications from the threads I had posted on earlier and this worked for me.
