E-Mail Help needed!

Help!! I am drowning in e-mails. Someone in my household has entered my email address on a site that gives it to everyone else in the cyber universe! I am receiving OVER 150 advertisement emails EVERYday. It is making my account unusable! I have tried unsubscribing to each of them but it seems like for every one I unsubscribe to I get 5 new ones!!What can I do to make them stop?!?! I have them going into a spam folder but it still takes forever to receive all the emails!
Can anyone help? Please!

You may have to change your e-mail address. That is the only solution that I know of.

Not necessarily someone gave them your email address, it works like your phone number, companys sell the phone numbers, they sell email addresses. I have the same problem and your right trying to unscribe does not work. You could try changing your email address, but eventually companys will get it again.

Stop doing the unsubscribe thing! That just lets them know they've found a valid email address that they can sell to other people. Just delete the messages w/o reading them.

1. "Unsubscribing" doesn't work unless the web site is responsible and legit (which 99 percent are not).
2. Get a spam blocker program, as suggested.
3. In the meantime, set up your e-mail account so that the only e-mails allowed in are those from addresses included in your address book.
