E-mail chain letters...

So I was just forwarded a letter from an old boyfriend about global warming. Now, I don't want to start a debate about global warming, but the attached article was very slanted and obviously written by someone who had little or no training on weather or science.

Anywho... here's the kicker... the person who forwarded me the e-mail drives a truck that gets about 12 miles a gallon and couldn't care less about the enviroment. I'm trying to figure out that one out.

Ya - most of them are total crap.

www.snopes.com ...I use it everyday.

People aren't going to send me things anymore because 90% of the time I take the time to look them up and then respond to the sender how totally false they are.

And the chain prayers - they drive me nuts. I'll pray when and how I see fit, but probably not here in the office between 3 dozen other emails.

I do this too when I feel motivated. So many of the e-mail things are such bunk it is sad to realize how many people truly believe them.
